When I started contributing to publications, my blogs gained exposure to a bigger audience boosting my visibility. Publications are a gateway to connect with readers who might not have discovered my work otherwise.

I love writing for newer publications giving this gives you prime opportunity to stand out and ride the wave of growth.

The Power of Community

Medium isn’t just a platform for writers, it helps build the confidence of any writer.

Engaging with other bloggers has been another key factor in my growth. Leaving thoughtful comments on articles, participating in discussions, and collaborating with fellow writers have created a reciprocal environment.

As I contributed to the community, others reciprocated, increasing my visibility and organic growth.

Crafting Meaningful Content

There’s an abundance of articles preaching on consistent output being one of the main reasons for a jump in followers + gaining a bigger payout.

I don't discredit this but focusing on creating meaningful, well-researched articles is most important here.

Rapid growth is a confidence booster especially when you’re first starting, but attracting a follower that genuinely enjoys your work and is engaged is where the real wealth is.

The more of an organic audience your success on Medium will continue a steady growth.

This approach, coupled with the amplification through publications, helped me stand out in the crowded Medium landscape.

In a world obsessed with instant gratification, an understated approach to Medium growth requires patience. Rather than chasing numbers, focus on consistently posting valuable content and nurturing relationships within the community.

Surpassing the 150-follower mark on Medium has been pretty cool. It happened at a steady pace and I’ve learned so much along the way.

My next goal for this year is to focus on creating more engagement within my posts.
